Robert Ramon Housner, age 81 entered Heaven November 6, 2010, at his home in Lake Montezuma, AZ. Bob was born on August 10, 1929 in Bridgeport, MI. He played in the band at Earl’s Blue Moon Ballroom from 1948 to 1951. He married Alice Damzyn on September 29,1950 and they recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1961 with their three children. He retired to Lake Montezuma in 1982. He was a painter by trade, an avid golfer, he loved music, dancing and woodworking.

He leaves behind his wife, Alice; 2 sons, Robert Ramon Jr. of Camano Island, WA and Glenn Steven of Gilbert, AZ; his daughter, Renae Lynn (Bill) Peck of Scottsdale, AZ; his four sisters, Norma Johnston of Payson, AZ, Laurel (Bill) Joseph of Scottsdale, AZ, Janice (Andy) Kline of Glendale, AZ and Delores Daniel of Glendale, AZ; his brother, Jim (Helen) Housner of Rimrock, AZ; eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews and countless friends. Bob is predeceased by his brothers, Herb Housner of Phoenix, AZ and Bill Housner of Saginaw, MI. A memorial in his honor will be held at a later date.
