Harry’s Hideaway easy to find in Cornville
CORNVILLE – Harry Olson and his wife, Adele, have recently opened Harry’s Hideaway Restaurant in Thistle and Thorn Plaza at 10990 E. Cornville Road, Suite C, in Cornville.
The couple owned a 200-seat upscale bistro restaurant for 16 years in Chicago. That restaurant employed more than 20 people. But now it is just Harry and Adele. They wanted the simple life. So they sold out in Chicago and moved to Cornville last spring.
The menu includes many popular offerings, including burgers, chicken, pizza, steak, shrimp, ribs, fish and pasta. Included are salads, soup and quiche. Even vegetarian and vegan dishes are offered.
“We try to be sensitive to our clientele,” Harry said. “Our main goal is to offer residents quality food at reasonable prices.”
He said the “bread and butter” of the business will be catering to local residents who, he hopes, will become regular customers. “If out of town visitors discover us, that’s icing on the cake,” he said.
A shrimp dish with 10 large shrimp is offered for $12. A half-pound black Angus cheeseburger is $8, and a four-ounce serving of wild-caught salmon is $11.
“Fresh, simple and delicious is the mantra,” as far as Harry is concerned.
Harry’s Hideaway also offers desserts, including carrot cake, bread pudding, chocolate mousse and flourless chocolate cake. Harry makes all desserts in house.
The complete menu and daily specials and hours are available at www.harryshideaway.com.
