Passover starts Monday: Festival of Freedom

Erev Shabbat services begin on Friday, April 15, led by Rabbi Magal. This is Simcha Shabbat, where a special blessing is offered to those celebrating a birthday, anniversary or other simcha in the month of April. Saturday, April 16, 11 a.m., Torah: The portion of the week is Acharei Mot, Leviticus 16-18, telling of the High Priest’s preparation for Yom Kippur, a day of forgiveness and atonement.
Sunday, April 17, Men’s Club breakfast and discussion. Religious School Model Seder at 11 a.m., Beginning Hebrew for Adults 11:30 a.m.
Monday, April 18 Passover begins at sundown.
Tuesday, April 19, 5:30 p.m. Community seder led by Rabbi Magal. pre-registration required.
Wednesday, April 20, at 8:30 am, egalitarian morning minyan for a mid-week spiritual uplift.
