Yavapai College honored one of its most accomplished Emeritus Faculty, Virginia "Ginny" Chanda, in an "encore" conversation held at the Clarkdale campus on Thursday evening. Chanda expressed her passion for teaching with colorful anecdotes featuring many of the colleges, students and friends in attendance at the annual Emeritus Evening. She capped off the night with a reading from her first novel. Ginny Chanda's career as a professor of humanities at Yavapai College spanned thirty years. VVN/Jon Pelletier
