Cottonwood Ranch Neighborhood Pride
Three homeowners were recognized at the recent Cottonwood Ranch Board meeting for their outstanding properties. Selected by the Neighborhood Pride Committee, the first place award for winter 2011 went to Carlos & Sharon Magana, 265 S. Buckskin Circle. They received a plaque from the Ranch Board and their names will be included in the permanent plaque located in the Clubhouse. The Maganas moved to Cottonwood in 2001 from San Diego. They enjoy the peaceful Verde Valley and are glad to get away from big city traffic. Receiving Honorable Mention for the winter quarter were Wayne & Wanda Haddock, 1705 W. Wagon Wheel Road and Bud & Joy Henderson, 130 S. Agave Circle. They each received a framed certificate and photographs of their homes are on display at the Clubhouse. The Neighborhood Pride Program was implemented by the Ranch Board in 2009 to recognize and reward homeowners who have maintained a high standard for their property. This includes outstanding landscaping, neat appearance and excellent curb appeal. Keeping properties in excellent condition is especially important with the current real estate situation. Nominations by Ranch neighbors, as well as the committee, will be reviewed in April for the spring quarter. Nominations are due by April 12.
