Expansion begins at VVMC-Sedona
SEDONA -- Progressive and state-of-the-art technology upgrades and clinical enhancements are under way at the Sedona Campus of Verde Valley Medical Center and Cancer Centers of Northern Arizona Healthcare.
The renovations will improve and enlarge the Cancer Center, equipping it to offer the most advanced cancer care and services for patients and the community.
The 1,700-square-foot expansion and remodeling will make room for the new high-dose radiation therapy for cancer patients, new exam rooms and physician offices, and private patient reception areas.
During the transition, the Sedona Campus will continue to provide a full range of services including 24/7 emergency services, laboratory and imaging services, three physician practice groups, clinic hours for the Heart & Vascular Center of Northern Arizona and medical oncology services for cancer patients.
Cancer radiation patients will receive treatments at the Flagstaff Campus during installation of new radiation therapy equipment.
Three vans daily will offer transportation from the Sedona, Verde Valley and Prescott areas, to provide minimal disruption and maximum convenience for patients. Lodging in Flagstaff also is available upon request.
