Wednesday was an important day at Dr. Daniel Bright School as the school celebrated Read Across America Day. The event falls annually on the birthday of Theodor Seuss Geisel, better known to the world as Dr. Seuss.  The Seuss inspired activities began early in the morning with a breakfast of green eggs and ham for parents and students - the Dr. Seuss movie, "Horton Hears a Hoo," played on a large screen in the cafeteria during the meal. Many of the students, faculty and parents were decked out in the iconic red and white striped "Cat in the Hat" top hats. There were special guest readers who visited classrooms throughout the day.
