VVMC-Sedona Campus begins expansion project
Progressive, state-of- the-art technology upgrades and clinical enhancements are underway at the Sedona Campus of Verde Valley Medical Center and Cancer Centers of Northern Arizona Healthcare. The renovations will improve and enlarge the Cancer Center, offering the most advanced cancer care and services for patients and the community.
Remodeling of the campus will expand the facility by 1,700 square feet, making room for the new high-dose radiation therapy for cancer patients, new exam rooms and physician offices, and private patient reception areas.
During this transition, VVMC-Sedona Campus will continue to provide the full range of services including 24/7 emergency services, laboratory and imaging services, three physician practice groups, clinic hours for the Heart & Vascular Center of Northern Arizona and medical oncology services for cancer patients.
While the new radiation therapy equipment is installed, patients are receiving their treatments at the Flagstaff Campus. For patient convenience during the renovation, three vans offer daily transportation from the Sedona, Verde Valley and Prescott areas, providing minimal disruption and maximum convenience for patients; in-town lodging in Flagstaff also is available upon request.
