Patricia Anna Cannaday 1927 - 2011
Patricia Anna Cannaday, 84 of Cottonwood, passed away on Sept. 15, 2011. She was born on March 30, 1927 in Indianapolis, Ind., to Victor Raymond Landis and Eva Lavon Brandenburgh.
Patricia graduated Arsenal Technical High School. She worked as a Library volunteer in PA and as a teacher’s aide in Amherst, NH. She was married for 66 years to Kenneth Cannaday. She traveled extensively in the US and Europe. She lived in Indiana, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Florida and Arizona.
Patricia enjoyed camping and fishing since childhood. In later years she enjoyed ceramics and making wonderful treasures for family and friends. She was a voracious reader who loved music and singing.
Patricia is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Cannaday who passed away on Aug. 1, 2011. She is survived by son Todd Cannaday (Maureen) of Sussex, WI; daughters Rebecca Henry (Frank) of Cottonwood and Beth Bratt (Kenneth) of Derry, NH; 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Private family services will be held.
