‘Practice Makes Perfect (sort of)’ at SUUF

Rev. Paul Langston-Daly, minister for the Sedona Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, will present a sermon titled “Practice Makes Perfect (sort of)” at the fellowship’s 1 p.m. service on Sunday, Oct. 23. The service will be held in the chapel of the Sedona Creative Life Center, 333 Schnebly Hill Road, with music provided by Beth Kingsley Hawkins, Minister of Music.

“Spiritual practice is a difficult thing,” says Rev. Langston-Daly. “It requires commitment, care and self-discipline. In a culture that reinforces indulgence, it is sometimes difficult to maintain a practice. Today we will explore some of the spiritual practices that have been taught by different world religions. While spiritual practice takes time to develop it can also feed your soul.”

SUUF serves Sedona and the Greater Verde Valley.  As the mission statement reads, “Our Fellowship is a place to grow in mind and spirit.  We promote a loving, just, and sustainable world through service, learning and action.” For more information, call (623) 251-0177 or visit
