‘Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness’ at SUUF
Rev. Paul Langston-Daly, minister for the Sedona Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, will present a sermon titled “Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness” at the fellowship’s 1 p.m. service on Sunday, Sept. 25. The service will be held in the chapel of the Sedona Creative Life Center, 333 Schnebly Hill Road, with music provided by Beth Kingsley Hawkins, Minister of Music.
According to Rev. Langston-Daly, “When Thomas Jefferson and the founding fathers wrote the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, they drew not from their European heritage, but from the Iroquois Confederacy. What lessons can be drawn today from those early examples of democracy? How might they be helpful for us today? “
