Imagination Library mails monthly an age appropriate book to each child from birth until their 5th birthday. All you have to do is to enroll your children or grandchildren who reside in Sedona or the Village of Oak Creek to receive this free service.

Two Ways to Enroll

Go to the Sedona Public Library or SPL in the Village to get a mail-in registration card -- OR --

Register online at www.sedonarotary.org.

There are only two requirements: The child must be under the age of 5 and must receive mail at a Sedona zip code. That's it!

About the Imagination Library in Sedona

The Rotary Club of Sedona is sponsoring this program in order to promote literacy and help children to be better prepared for school. The country music singer, Dolly Parton created the Imagination Library in 1996. Since that time the program has distributed over 40 million books to pre-school children, including over 8 million books in 2011. Books that are distributed are selected by a panel of noted educators and early childhood development specialists to help promote a passion for reading and learning. Follow-up studies have shown that the program has a meaningful impact on the preparedness of children entering kindergarten.
