Myrtle Wingfield Suglio, 92, of Pine, Arizona, passed away April 9, 2012. Daughter of Jewell and Bill Basham,

Myrtle is survived by three Daughters and their husbands, Sally and Robert Randall, Judy and Clifford Wood and Elva and Lattie Coor, seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Myrtle was preceded in death by her son, Roy, her first husband and father of her children, Gale, and by her loving husband, Joe Suglio.

Myrtle was blessed with a close friendship with her husband’s surviving daughter-in-law, Janice Suglio, and her children.

Born in Williams, Arizona, she married Gale Wingfield in 1937 and lived in Camp Verde for 23 years before moving to Phoenix where she married Joe Suglio in 1962. In 1972 Joe and Myrtle moved to Pine where they spent the rest of their lives enjoying being close to her daughter and son-in-law Sally and Robert Randall, her grandchildren and life in a lovely small town.

Myrtle was fun-loving, enjoyed cooking, sewing, art, crafts, reading, photography, singing and traveling.

Graveyard services will be held at the Clear Creek Cemetery in Camp Verde at 10:00 AM Saturday, April 21, and a celebration of her life at the home of Sally and Robert Randall in Pine, Arizona beginning at 12:30 PM. Tributes may be made to the Isabelle Hunt Memorial Library, 6124 North Randall Place, Pine, AZ 85544 OR the Pine/Strawberry Historical Society, PO Box 564, Pine, AZ 85544. Messinger Mortuary in Payson handled the arrangements.
