STEM Night at Cottonwood Middle School May 10
Cottonwood-Oak Creek School District will hold STEM Night May 10 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Cottonwood Middle School. STEM Night will be an exciting demonstration of science, technology, engineering and mathematics within the district.
Teachers from throughout the Cottonwood-Oak Creek District will have booths set up in the gymnasium to showcase the great educational opportunities the district's students participate in. The booths will consist of fun, hands-on activities for both children and adults.
In addition, there will be classrooms set up to demonstrate how technology is used in the district, including a tutorial on school fusion.
This night will also offer guests the opportunity get up to speed on personal technology and gadgets. Mingus Union High School Technology students will be on hand to help people learn about these personal devices.
The district's transportation department will put on a biodiesel demonstration.
STEM Night will present an exciting look into what Cottonwood-Oak Creek students are learning in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. It is all part of a district striving to create critical thinkers and increase science literacy for the next generation of innovators.
