... a few days ago when I went down to the ponds in Page Springs to do a little shooting, I saw a friend and fellow photographer coming up the path between ponds towards me; Wayne asked if I would flap my wings and it seemed a reasonable request so I obliged him ... here is what he described as a large featherless bird ... I was hoping it would work because I have been confined to the ground for a couple three weeks waiting for parts for the Lambada to arrive and I am quite ground sick. Alas, it did not work and I remained on the ground, but I did learn today that the parts left the Czech Republic today so I should be back in my element before Christmas ... and the making of this photo was quite fun.
It was back to the new wetlands off 89A this afternoon and I got this shot of some Bluebills taking off and departing the area with the red rocks of Sedona as a backdrop. It was a fun day and hope your day was as good as ours. It's into the weekend now so have fun, share your joy and never miss a chance to smile. Back on Monday!
May words unkind and false ne'er pass your lips,
