Obituary: Edith Mae Peterson 1920 - 2012
Edith Mae Peterson, 92, passed away December 7, 2012 in Phoenix with family by her side. She was born November 6, 1920 in Michigan. Preceded in death by her husband Melvin Peterson (former owner of Sedona Sheet Metal) and son Gary Peterson.
She is survived by her sister Donna Atkins (Cottonwood); daughter Marilyn Elrage (Phoenix); grandchildren Robin Kollar (Chris), Shawn Miele (Mark) both from Peoria and James Page (Deedra) of Lubbock, TX; 11 Great Grandchildren and 6 Great Great Grandchildren.
Edith was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She helped her husband establish and build the Sedona Sheet Metal. She assisted with 4-H when her children were involved with the organization. She was an artist and had placed many of her paintings in various banks and businesses around the surrounding area. Edith was a long-time resident of Flagstaff, Sedona, Page Springs, and Cottonwood areas.
