Another successful book sale benefits Village library
Thanks to all our volunteers, we just completed another record setting sale to raise money for our SPL in the Village. While we don’t have the final figures yet, we raised over $3400 during our three and a half days.
Grateful thanks go first to Jeanne Baggs and Dick and Carol Smith for generously storing and sorting books between sales. We appreciate the support of the Sedona Fire District for the use of the station 3 training room and the physical help from the duty crews, especially on Wednesday, the 18th, and Monday, the 23rd, in setting up and taking down tables and boxes of books. Dan Willits continues to help us refine our signage and Leigh Shafer to coordinate our Friends of the Library support.
And many thanks to the following volunteers who moved boxes of books out of storage and back into storage, set up sale tables, constantly sorted books during the sale, helped shoppers find what they were looking for and packed up the leftovers to go back into storage: Jack Deshida, Suzie Dunn, Penny Mathieu, Pattie Hodel, Jerry Burgess, Bonnie Martin, Mary Clement, Kate McGehan, Cheryl Archer, Nancy Oliphant, Dick Thomas, Joy Greaves, Dee Chadwick, Anita O’Connor, Valerie Girard, Kathi Sartwell, Sonya Landholm, Marie Olivarez, Diane Janusch, Karen Willits, Jan Vette, Jackie Ritter, Diana Robinson, and Dennis Young.
