Charles Fant

Charles Fant

Charles Fant, 74, of Rimrock died January 27, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born May 1, 1937 in Texarkana, Arkansas to Roy and Louise Fant.

After graduation he preached at the Church of Christ in Texas, New Mexico and Arizona. After retiring from preaching he sold time shares in Sedona, Arizona. He was a member of the Verde Valley Christian Church in Cottonwood.

Charles enjoyed many hobbies in his lifetime including bicycling, riding his motorcycle, hunting, fishing, gardening and hiking (including the Grand Canyon quite a few times). He mostly loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. Charles was a dynamic and magnetic personality with the ability to make friends wherever he went.
