This morning

... we awoke to more snow falling and little sun. I took this shot a little later in the morning from my home office, sometimes referred to as my man cave. The sun was trying to burn through but it hadn't quite made it and can be seen upper left of the image. At any rate it was a beautiful day filled with blessings and challenges ... doesn't get any better. This shot also reminds me of a shot I took from The California Zephyr while going through a blizzard in the Sierra. I love trains and am going to have to do that again soon. Three more weeks and it is respite break time again and a trip up to visit Ted, Susan and Annika in Half Moon Bay, CA. My ocean fix and more as Sus has arranged for me to spend a day photographing flowers at Filoli gardens. It is a beautiful place and check it out at: http://filoli.org/ . Also visits to Napa Valley, up the coast, the Bay and more planned. Thinking about bringing a tripod along on this trip to shoot the flowers and stuff ... unlikely but I am thinking about it guys ... does that count?

Very busy day underway and need a few hours before the coffee pot does my wakeup call whilst grinding a wonderful Maui Mokka coffee bean ... twenty minutes to a smile as the first sip is taken.

Cheers

Ted
