Letter: President must be one who leads by example

There are a number of men in the GOP who would be President of the United States.

Almost immediately after the ignominious defeat of GOP standard-bearer Mitt Romney in the 2012 election, these men began posturing and positioning themselves for a run for the GOP nomination in 2016.

Thus far, the leading candidates in this rogue’s gallery of potential POTUS are Chris Christie [GOP Governor of New Jersey], Marco Rubio [GOP Senator from Florida], “Bobbie” Jindhal [GOP Governor from Louisiana], and last but most certainly not least “Jeb” Bush, [former GOP Governor of Florida], son of Bush I, brother of Bush II, or as his acolytes refer to him Bush III, [Bush Lite].

Good Ole boy Jeb is the Third in the Trifecta of Bushes who seek to establish the Bush Political Dynasty to lead America in the transformation from an American constitutional democracy into a corporate [fascist] state.

The election is barely over; the carcus of Mitt Romney still warm while the political pundits pick at it to profoundly acclaim the political death of their former GOP candidate, while these men are already dreaming of their ascendancy to the Office of the Presidency as they climb over Mitt Romney in their ascendancy to the GOP dung heap.

Well, if these men genuinely want to be President, I have some advice for them. Run, run as fast and as far as you can away from the GOP as if you are fleeing Sodom and Gomorrah. Do not look back or you will be turned into the political equivalent of the biblical pillar of salt. Remaining in the GOP and mistakenly believing that the GOP can win a national election is equivalent to Alice jumping through the rabbit hole into Wonderland.

The GOP has graphically demonstrated it does not represent the majority view of the American people. The truth is in full view for all to see and the elitist GOP is the proverbial emperor with no clothes.

The neoconservative ideology of the GOP is unsustainable on a national level because it is fascist in orientation and goals and completely antithetical to a democratic society.

The American electorate overwhelmingly rejected the GOP political agenda on Nov. 6, 2012, and that should have been a wake up call for those men in the GOP with presidential ambitions.

The ability of the GOP to achieve national ascendancy as a political party based upon a coalition of elitism, racism, extremism, and religious fanaticism led by a neoconservative leadership steeped in fascist ideology no longer exists.

Any politician who is genuinely desirous of being POTUS should get out of the GOP, and get out now before it is too late to salvage your political aspirations/career.

Remaining in the GOP will only propel you into that bottomless pit of political irrelevancy where the GOP is about to take up permanent residence as the premier minority party in America.

The men who would be POTUS must be men who are prepared to be President of the United States of America.

A President by, of, and for all of the people and one who leads by example with a demonstrable belief in and fidelity to our egalitarian constitutional democracy that promotes, preserves and protects the individual and collective constitutional rights of “we, the people”.

All of the people and not those dedicated to GREED [Get Rich Eviscerating Everything Democratic] or in other words, the GOP.
