Live music, live auction at VVCC anniversary bash
Will honor 106-year-old 'neighbor'

Verde Valley Caregivers Coalition invites you to help celebrate 20 years of service during its 20th Anniversary Bash and Fundraiser to be held on Thursday, Nov. 1, 4:30 to 8 p.m. in the Hilton Sedona Canyon Ballroom, at 90 Ridge Trail Drive. The gala will feature a wine tasting reception, appetizers by Chef de Cuisine Lisa Dahl of Cucina Rustica, an elegant dinner, entertainment, silent and live auctions, and an informative program.

Proceeds of the event will help VVCC provide needed services to older adults throughout the Verde Valley. VVCC Executive Director Kent Ellsworth said the anniversary celebration will acknowledge the organization's founders, volunteers, and "neighbors." One such neighbor is 106-year-old Althea Burns, the evening's guest of honor. Burns moved with her husband and five children to Cottonwood in 1955. With the help of her family, she is able to remain in her Cottonwood duplex and continues to be active in her church. She also utilizes a personal security alert pendent provided by Caregivers.

The evening's live auction will feature works by artists Susan Kliewer, Michael Trsic, Greg Heil, and more. The silent auction will feature water colors by Sedona artist Zoltan Szabo, other art and photography, and gift baskets and gift certificates from businesses throughout the Verde Valley. Music will be provided by Suzie Schomaker and Studio Live.

VVCC wishes to thank its title sponsor National Processing Solutions and all those who have sponsored tables: Sterling Financial Services, Northern Arizona Homecare & Hospice, Taylor & Padgett, Verde Valley Medical Center, Elizabeth McFarland and Linda Wallace, PLLC.

Special thanks to our in-kind sponsors: Lisa Dahl and Cucina Rustica, Hilton Sedona Resort & Spa, Jazz Bouquet Floral Shop & Tea Café, Studio Live, and Video Alchemy Productions, LLC.
