Delores “Dee Dee” Marie Fields

Delores “Dee Dee” Marie Fields, 66 of Lake Montezuma, passed away on April 18, 2013 in Cottonwood. She was born on January 30, 1947 in Livermore, California to Garth and Pauline Johnson.

Dee Dee attended Prescott High School then Prescott Beauty College. She worked for Lake Montezuma Beauty Salon for 31 years and at Kachina Point Care and Rehab Center for 20 years. She volunteered with the Montezuma/Rimrock Fire Department/EMT for 10 years and also at the Beaver Creek School for 20 years.

Dee Dee attended Camp Verde United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening and traveling.

Dee Dee was preceded in death by her parents Pauline and Garth. She is survived by her husband of 46 years Thomas R. Fields; sons Michael R. Fields (Carla) of Vero Beach, FL and Matthew S. Fields (Wendy) of Surprise, AZ; brothers Steve Johnson (Judy) of Prescott and David Johnson (Paulette) of Cottonwood; sister Diane Mitchell of Lenoir, NC and 6 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 23 at 10:00am at the Camp Verde United Methodist Church, 480 S. 1st Street in Camp Verde.
