Cottonwood Ace Hardware store earns Five-Star Platinum honor
Ace Hardware Corporation has named Verde Valley Hardware of Cottonwood a "Five-Star Platinum" Ace retailer for its commitment to providing excellent customer service in its local community during 2012.
The nation's largest hardware cooperative bestows this recognition on approximately 10 percent of its top-performing stores.
Ace's Platinum Performance Retailing (PPR) achievement program provides merchandising initiatives as well as operational training and guidelines designed to help Ace stores offer superior customer service, improve sales and overall store performance.
"Our Five-Star Platinum Ace stores deliver best-in-class customer service in their local communities each and every day," said Kane Calamari, Ace Hardware's vice president of retail operations and new business. "We're pleased to recognize Verde Valley Hardware and its associates for their outstanding achievements, and proud to say they're a part of the Ace family."
Stores that achieve Ace's Five-Star Platinum designation undertake a number of initiatives aimed at perfecting the customer experience in-store; these initiatives focus on training staff associates, providing superior product assortments, and representing the Ace brand in the local market.
Five-Star retailers embrace these initiatives and also achieve the highest performance results among their peers.
"At Verde Valley Hardware, we pride ourselves on providing the best customer service and a mix of quality brands to fit the needs of our community," said Joel Zaske, owner at Verde Valley Hardware. "While the ultimate test is the satisfaction of our customers, being recognized by Ace as a Five-Star Platinum retailer validates our team's dedication and efforts."
