Free pit bull spay/neuter offered at Morning Starr

Morning Starr Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic opened its doors Dec. 3, 2012, to provide the Verde Valley with a low-cost spay/neuter option.

The staff consists of volunteers from various professional backgrounds who are dedicated to making a difference in the overpopulation of cats and dogs.

The goal is to provide these animals with the highest quality of one-on-one care possible with state-of-the art equipment. In collaboration with Red Rose Inspiration for Animals and a generous grant from the Sedona Community Foundation, Morning Starr has been able to provide free pit bull spay/neuter for the community.

The Clinic spay/neuter services are provided twice a month through the generous help from a local veterinarian. We anxiously anticipate the arrival of our full time spay/neuter veterinarian in January.

Vaccinations are available by appointment during spay/neuter days, monthly dates variable. Dog licenses and micro-chipping services are available daily Monday-Thursday from 8 a.m. to noon.
