On Monday, Dec. 23, "The Sparkling Girls" will present a short program for the diners in the early evening at both Cucina Rustica and Dahl & Di Luca restaurants in Sedona.

The girls will sing Spanish and English Christmas songs in celebration of this beautiful season.

"The Sparkling Girls" (Las Niñas Brillantes) is a newly formed singing group performing throughout the Verde Valley.

The singers are Yaretzy, Mixtli, Elizabeth, Abigail, Jaqueline and Gisel. The six girls range in age from 5 to 12 years and attend school in the Cottonwood-Oak Creek School District.

They are directed by Cynthia Strom, who also performs with them.

"The girls bring joy whenever they perform", says Cynthia. "That's because they love to sing and share their amazing gift of music with others. They really do sparkle!"
