Disabled Veterans Benefit Raffle raises $20,697.34
VILLAGE OF OAK CREEK - Since starting the Disabled Veterans Benefit Raffle in 2006, John Cornelius has collected more than $141,603.40 for the Bob Stump VA Medical Center in Prescott.

"We really appreciate the people who have donated," Cornelius said. "I enjoy doing this. Every dime I raise goes to the Prescott veterans."
Throughout the year, Cornelius sells raffle tickets in front of Weber's Market in the Village of Oak Creek. On Dec. 7 each year, in recognition of Pearl Harbor Day, Cornelius and a group of volunteers draw raffle tickets in front of the market.
