Obituary: Joseph T. Shea 1926 - 2013

Joseph T. Shea

Joseph T. Shea

Joseph T. Shea went to be with our Lord on Jan. 6, 2013. Joe was born on Dec. 12, 1926 in Pittsburgh, Pa. He has been a resident of Sedona, Ariz. for the past eight years.

Joseph Shea was a decorated Lieutenant in the US Navy and served in World War II as well as the Korean War. His passion for the sea and any body of water allowed him to sail any type of craft.

He was the life of any family gathering but was humble enough to know it was never about him. His sense of humor and love of life was something he shared with everyone he met.

In real estate, he achieved the distinction of attaining his CCIM designation and served as a real estate instructor.

Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Amy Carol Shea; sister, Norma (Dave) Govan of Fort Collins; and by numerous nieces and nephews.

GOD BLESS YOU UNCLE JOE, ALOHA!

A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at St. John Vianney Catholic Parish in Sedona at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Sedona Humane Society.

An online guestbook is available to sign at www.westcottfuneralhome.com
