Cottonwood Teen Center feasibility to be studied
COTTONWOOD -- A brainstorming session will be held Saturday to test the waters for a Teen Center. A summit meeting on the proposal will be held this from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Cottonwood Recreation Center to discuss the feasibility of developing a teen center.
Cottonwood Mayor Joens and the city council are hosting the summit and inviting people from other communities, diverse faiths local business and non profit organizations.
Joens say after "For our City" organized, it determined that a teen center was a priority. "For Our City" has now organized two Greater Cottonwood area cleanup campaigns.
The summit will be facilitated by Lori Deutsch of First Things First and Merilee Fowler of MATForce and Community Counts.
