Obituary: Dale William Hood Sr.

Dale William Hood Sr., 49, of Camp Verde, AZ died November 11, 2013 in Camp Verde, AZ. He was born on February 2, 1964 in Ajo, AZ, the son of Kenneth and Virginia Hood.

He was an employee at Cliff Castle Casino, where he enjoyed being the boss. Dale attended school in Reno, NV at Stewart Indian School and in Riverside, CA at Sherman Indian High School. He enjoyed fishing whenever he got the chance and enjoyed the company of friends and family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his sons, Dale Hood Jr. and Joseph Hood and his daughter, Toya Hood and 5 grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave., Cottonwood, on Sunday, November 17 from 5-7 PM. Funeral service will be held at Westcott Funeral Home on Monday, November 18, at 10 AM with burial to follow at Valley View Cemetery.
