Eugene Earl “Steve” Imus

Eugene Earl "Steve" Imus, 81, of Cottonwood died September 3, 2013.  He was born January 15, 1932 in Ventura, CA to Earl and Flossie Imus.  

After finishing school, Steve joined the Navy, serving his country during the Korean War.  After leaving the service he went on to work at a wide variety of occupations, including Rocketdyne in CA, the US Forest Service in OR, real estate sales in Big Bear, CA, real estate appraisals in AZ, and as a driver for Westcott Funeral Home. He enjoyed restoring automobiles and following politics.

Steve was predeceased by both of his parents.  He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Nancy Imus of Cottonwood, his daughter, Bonnie Miller; his step-sons, Charles (Amber) Wadey of Austin, TX and Andrew (Julia) Wadey of Peoria, AZ; 2 grandsons, Lear and Hawk Miller, 2 step-grandsons, Zeland and Clark Wadey and a step-granddaughter, Aurora Wadey.

A memorial will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Prescott National Cemetery, 500 Highway 89, North Prescott, AZ at 11:00 A.M.  Memorial contributions in his name can be made to Verde Valley Community Hospice, 859 Cove Parkway, Cottonwood, AZ  86326.
