Duane Tennant, 84, passed away Friday December 12, 2014 at The Marley Hospice House in Prescott, surrounded by his "girls."

He was born August 10, 1930 in Meshoppen, PA to Donald and Laverna Tennant. He grew up in Binghamton, NY.

He spent 2 years in the US Army and 2 years in the US Marine Corp. He spent his career in the trucking business and finally retired from the Walgreens warehouse in Flagstaff in 1992.

He has been a resident of Camp Verde since 1994.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Bobbie Tennant, his daughters Debra Fenner of Phoenix, Patricia Eckstein (Kevin) of Peoria, Regina Freeman (Dave) of Camp Verde and a son Dale Pehrson (Marty) of Arnold, MD. He had 11 grandchildren and 11 great, great grandchildren.

A military service will be held on January 5, 2015, 10:30 AM at the National Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 North Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ 85024. All are welcome.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to granddaughter Kelsea Freeman, with Cystic Fibrosis @ liver for Kelsea, PO Box 1223, Camp Verde, AZ 86322.
