Go Burlesque for Valentine's Day
Main Stage will also host DJ ill.Ego Dance Party this weekend
On Friday, Feb. 14, Main Stage will host Sweethearts Burlesque Show. The show was created by Afton Seekins, choreographer of local dance troop, Sugar Idols, and Cindi Battisti of Bee Bling Boutique, who have teamed up to put together an unforgettable night.
In total, the evening will showcase Sugar Idols, Bobbi Bari, The Peek A Boo Darlings by Cindi Bee, Gypsy Chicks, an aerial silk artist and dance party with local DJ ill.Ego. The doors open at 8:30 p.m. with a champagne toast and chocolates by Sweet Box Treats. Performances begin at 9:30pm. Tickets are on sale now, and can be paired with a dinner from local restaurant Schoolhouse for $75 package. Presale show tickets $10 and are $12 at the door.
Saturday, Feb. 15, sees the return of the ever-growing third Saturdays dance party hosted by DJ ill.Ego. DJ ill.Ego hosts a themed dance party every months while bringing in a variety of other acts. This month's theme is High Skool Party. Guests are encouraged to dress up in the clothes of their school years while dancing to songs of the '80s, '90s and early 2000s. The show is $5 but free for attendees who dress in costume. The evening begins at 9 p.m. and runs until 2 a.m.
