Mingus Union High School's A.T.O.R.T. is proud to present Disney on Broadway! Come on this journey across Disney's magical productions on Broadway!

If you enjoyed Broadway across America last year -- this year it is bigger and better than ever! This all singing, all dancing musical revue highlights all of the Disney shows that have been on Broadway.

With six medleys, eight choreographers, over 80 students, and over 40 songs and dances, this spectacle is not to be missed. Highlights include songs from Mary Poppins, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Newsies, Tarzan, Mulan, Aladdin, and The Lion King. The Beauty and the Beast numbers are being performed by the MUHS 2012 cast. Alumni are coming from Phoenix to Flagstaff to revive a piece of this magical show.

This family friendly show is fun for all children and adults. Disney on Broadway will be playing Friday and Saturday Jan. 17, 18, 24, and 25th at 7 p.m. and matinees on Sunday, Jan. 19 and 26 at 3 p.m.

Advanced tickets are $8 for adults, $7 for seniors, and $6 for students and children and are on sale at www.showtix4u.com, stopping by the MUHS Bookstore, or calling 928-649-4466.

All tickets are $3 more at the door so buy early and save!

After intermission, the program begins start with Tarzan, choreographed by Michal Bader and Thekla Hutyrova, with Marshal Shill as Tarzan and soloists Ben Frayer and Jeremy Villa.

Tarzan also features Emma Griffen as Kala, Hannah Rumpf as Jane, and Gorillas Maria Furphy, Dillon Davis and Hailey Osborn round out this energetic number.

Following that is Aladdin, choreographed by Angelica Alcala. This number is done completely with the choir students (over 55 members!) and stars Gus Lindley/Devin Slusher as Aladdin, Peyton Drake as Genie, and Taylor McFarland as Jasmine.

Last up is The Lion King, choreographed by Rachel Miller, with Sa-Ha-Na Jackson and Hannah Rumpf as Nala with Gus Lindley as Simba.

"I am amazed at how much talent is right here in the Verde Valley," said Mingus theatre instructor James Ball. "I hope to see you at the show - and bring your friends, family, and neighbors - they won't be disappointed!"
