Angela Windolph and her dog Poopie

Golden Bone Pet Products in Sedona has wonderful, loyal customers who have two great reasons to shop there. First, pet owners can count on thoroughly researched, quality food, treats, toys and other pet needs The second reason is that the Golden Bone store is owned by the co-founders of Golden Bone Rescue. Owners, Nadia Caillou and Angela Windolph are dedicated to the care and treatment of animals.

Nadia has over 30 years experience in animal rescue and pet care. She works with emotional support animals and is an advocate for promoting the human animal bond. Nadia also writes a pet care column. Animals are her life's work.

Co-owner, Angela knew at a very early age, helping and caring for dogs was her mission. After experiencing a puppy mill, she knew she had to make a difference. When she was asked about her rescue work, Angela said, "There's no way I can't do it. It's like breathing."

The rescue can take advantage of wholesale pricing and the store keeps Nadia and Angela employed. Golden Bone Rescue is managed on an entirely volunteer basis. They help between 200-250 animals a year. In 2013 they received the Unsung Hero Award presented by Yavapai County Supervisor, Chip Davis.

The store specializes in eco friendly, socially conscious, environmentally sound and innovative products in all departments. You'll find organic beds and toys, BPH free bowls, low carbon footprint cat scratchers, organic catnip, biodegradable pooh bags, shampoos and supplements that are free of artificial ingredients. Sturdy leashes, collars and harnesses and a dazzling array of pet clothing for all seasons in sizes from tiny to huge.

Your furry (and hairless) friends are welcome at the Golden Bone, where you'll find everything for the natural pet.
