Cinco Chicopella at White Hills Gallery
An artist reception for the new Cinco Chicopella exhibit at the White Hills Gallery in Camp Verde is Friday, 5-7 p.m. The exhibit features the collaborative work of five local Camp Verde artists: Deborah Gallagher, Vada Lovato, Karen Sellers, Gaylene Allen, and Pat Sharp, to be on display through Sept. 12.

Stargazers Cookout and Grand Finale of Reading Program
Thursday at 6 p.m. at the ramada off of Hollamon Street the Camp Verde Community Library invites you to a country cookout and an evening under the stars. Camp Verde Community Library staff and volunteers will barbecue hotdogs and provide chips and drinks. You bring homemade cookies to share, camp chairs or picnic blankets, and hungry family members.
They will honor the top three readers from each age group with special prizes and recognize all participants of the Summer Reading Program from ages 1 to 100. The Verde Valley Stargazers will host a guided tour of the constellations through their telescopes. Make sure to sign up for this event with Ms. Dianna in the children's room. Shabbat Service in English
Join the Jewish Community of Sedona and the Verde Valley for Erev Shabbat services on Friday at 5:30 p.m. for a Shabbat service led by Meri Thomason and Harvey Bershader almost completely in English. This special service will include the traditional Shabbat prayers, but hearing them in English may give a new perspective to the Erev Shabbat Service.

Call to Artists for Made In Clarkdale Art Show 2014
Made In Clarkdale Art Show 2014 begins with jurying in new artists! The jurying dates for the Made In Clarkdale annual show will be Saturday, Aug. 9, Sept.13, and Oct. 11. Artists must live, work, or be taking art classes in Clarkdale to be eligible.
Jurying is held at the Yavapai-Apache Learning Center, 1630 Beecher St. in upper Clarkdale. Questions about jurying can be directed to Sandy Boothe at (928) 634-0486 email@example.com. Made in Clarkdale runs Dec. 6-14.
Camp Verde Adult Reading Program annual meeting
