Yavapai Silent Witness offers reward for Hickey capture info
On Tuesday, Oct. 28, 53-year-old James D. Hickey of Clarkdale, was spotted taking pictures up an 18-year old woman's skirt while shopping at Cottonwood's Spirit Halloween store in. When confronted Hickey pushed the manager against a rack and fled out of the store chased by two male employees. He ran north disappeared into a wash.
It was discovered during the investigation that Hickey was also being looked at by Sedona Police as well as Phoenix Police Department for similar acts. Hickey was identified by Phoenix Police as the subject they were looking for in reference to a male subject being seen on store surveillance taking pictures up a woman skirt while in a Hobby Lobby.
According to Cottonwood Detective Sergeant Tod Moore, "There are likely numerous others victims of Hickey's lewd acts. We won't know for sure full extent of his acts until all data is recovered and analyzed from the evidence recovered thus far". Hickey is wanted for numerous charges both in Yavapai and Maricopa Counties. "If anyone knows Hickey or where he can be found, we encourage you to call your local Police. Hickey is considered dangerous and needs to be taken into custody for the safety of the community."
