Main Stage expands hours, hosts heavy metal and blues jam

Main Stage in Cottonwood has finally settled in on some new hours, which is good news for those who enjoy the music venue/night club's unique brand of "music, art, and community."

Beginning this week Main Stage will be open Monday through Saturday from 10am to close and closed Sundays.  This promises to mean more events and greater variety of entertainment coming to the Cottonwood venue.

Thursday, Nov. 2,0 sees another installment of 3rd Thursdays Monthly Blues Jam with Joe Neri's Blues Dawg.  The monthly event is billed as «a true jam session» and is open to all players to come and play with some of Northern Arizonas finest players.  The event is always free and will take place the third Thursday of each month, running 7-10pm.

Friday, November 21 sees the monthly visit from local favorite, DJ ill.Ego who brings themed monthly dance parties to the venue.  This month's event is titled "Twerksgiving."  The party is free and begins at 9 p.m.

On Saturday, Nov. 22, at Main Stage in Cottonwood, local music promoters Syntheticide Entertainment presents, "Oath To Ashes Video Release Party."  Hometown metal act Oath To Ashes are recognized as one of the most diligent and talented up and coming local bands working to keep the local metal scene thriving.  Their first professional video for the song  "Unwritten," shot by Rincon Studios out of Litchfield Park, will be released to the public for the first time on the big screen at the event.  Joining them on the stage will be two Project Independent winning bands who have racked up well deserved accolades in the Arizona music scene. From San Diego,CA, Aghori brings a unique blend of metal that "can be both brutal and melodic at the same time."  This will be their first time playing in Northern Arizona.  Also joining them from Phoenix will be the unstoppable industrial rock behemoth that is Element A440. Known for a theatrical live show, a dedication to the fans, and being one of the hardest working bands in all of Arizona, they return to Main Stage for the second time to headline the afterparty.  To further support local art, artists and community, Ink Impression Tattoo will be doing a live tattoo session during the night.  Doors open at 8 pm and music starts at 9 pm.  21+  and pre-sale tickets are only $5 while $7 at the door.  Tickets can be purchased at Ink Impression Tattoo or online from
