Assessor reports Yavapai home prices on rise
Yavapai County Assessor Pamela J. Pearsall reports that single family residential median home prices for July 2014 have risen more than 9.7 percent over the past year.
The median sale price of a single family home for July 2014 is $230,000 compared to $209,600 from July 2013.
The average square footage of homes sold in July of 2014 is 1,978 compared with 1,846 for July of 2013.
The median sales price of homes in Yavapai County for all of calendar year 2014 now stands at $220,000. This figure is up +2.3 percent over the $215,000 median sales price from calendar year 2013.
The current 2014 median sales price includes sales from January up to and including any available recorded sales from July.
The highest price paid for a home in July of 2014 was $1.395 million for a 5,818 square foot residence while the lowest price paid was $36,000 for a 1,428 square foot residence.
