This Saturday, Aug. 22, Ilchi Lee, New York Times Bestselling Author of The Solar Body: The Secret to Natural Healing will discuss simple ways you can increase the innate healing capacity of your body and mind.

The event will be held from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Sedona Creative Life Center, located at 333 Schnebly Hill Road. Participants will learn first-hand how raising body temperature helps create an energetic balance which allows the human body systems to function at their best.

The public is invited to attend this day of discovery with lectures by author Lee about the secret to maintaining the body's natural healing power at optimal levels, and James Westphal, MD, Professor of Psychiatry, University of Hawaii who will discuss "Your Body and Brain on Natural Healing," a scientific and public health perspective on natural healing.

Join the fun; personal aura readings, refreshments and a copy of Lee's book, The Solar Body: The Secret to Natural Healing, are included in the $20 admission. Lee will be available to sign books immediately following the program.

A "hot" topic when it comes to natural healing, "The Solar Body Method" offers simple exercise techniques which gently but quickly raise body temperature to its healthiest level to help improve immunity, circulation, metabolism and mood to create what Lee calls a "Solar Body," and describes as "someone who relies on oneself for sustaining health and wellness."

Guest speaker, Dr. Westphal comments, "Stress exacerbates almost all mental and physical diseases. The majority of doctor visits are stress related. If enough people practice the [stress-reducing] Solar Body Method, the impact on public health could be extensive. Possibly equivalent the public health impact of the population quitting smoking."

Lee is well known in the Sedona community for his New York Times bestselling book, The Call of Sedona: Journey of the Heart and for founding Sedona Mago Retreat, a place for spiritual awakening. Lee is the founder of Body & Brain Yoga (formerly Dahn Yoga) and Brain Education mind-body techniques designed to enhance human potential and quality of life practiced in centers worldwide.

Lee has been a pioneer in cultivating young leaders around the world through educational projects such as the Global Cyber University, University of Brain Education, and the Benjamin School for Character Education. Earlier this month he was awarded the 2015 Grand Prize Management Award for True Education Management by South Korean media giant, TV Chosun for his innovative development of the Global Cyber University, a four-year online undergraduate university.

James R. Westphal, MD is a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry with the University of Hawaii, John A.
