Busy spring for Sedona Village Business Assn.
It is way too early to get confident but if February was any indicator of what spring 2015 is going to be like, I have a lot more preparing to do. Warm temps, a flurry of events and a brutal winter back east seem to be boding well for a busier than normal spring (and yes I'm knocking on wood as I write this).
It has been nice to see some new businesses opening their doors here in the Village and I encourage locals to get out and see some of the new food and shopping that has been popping up.
I apologize as I do not yet have a ton to report on the SVBA this month. We are simply waiting to hear back on a few of the things we have been working on. We started the year by mapping out the projects we wanted to tackle and by the end of the month we will have our permit to do holiday lights along Highway 179 back into ADOT.
We are also working with the Sedona Village Vision Alliance on the ideas of bringing Verde Lynx to the Village as well as a map of the town and the businesses in it. We feel these are all great projects as they have benefits to not just business but to the residential community as well. Stay tuned to our website as we should have more to report on this next month.
We are continuing to meet on the third Wednesday of every month at 4 p.m. at the Sedona Hilton Resort and meetings are open to anyone who would like to attend.
