Bomb threat at AG's office
PHOENIX -- A bomb threat on Tuesday forced the evacuation of three offices of the state attorney general.
Spokeswoman Mia Garcia said a person called the agency's Prescott office about 9:45 a.m. and asked if the attorney general was in his office. That person -- Garcia was not given a gender -- then said a bomb would go off in half an hour.
The agency evacuated its two offices in Phoenix as well as offices in Prescott and Tucson, with the agency having about 1,000 employees statewide. Workers were let back in after the Department of Public Safety went through the buildings with bomb-sniffing dogs.
