Young recording artist Sophia Angeles returns to Living Room concert series
Wednesday, April 1, the Living Room Music Series at CPL Sedona welcomes 17-year old singer songwriter Sophia Angeles.
The concert will take place at the Center for Positive Living in the Village of Oak Creek, 45 Castle Rock Road.
Tickets are $10 at the door, which opens at 6:30 p.m. with the concert starting at 7.
Sophia Angeles is a 17-year-old singer-songwriter from Sedona who has a fresh original sound and a unique and powerful vocal style. Her songwriting is sophisticated beyond her years and her style ranges from pop to indie/folk.
In 2011 she won the Sedona Sunrise Rising Star Award. She's been singing, performing on stage and writing songs since she was 9 years old. Her EP "Somewhere We Haven't Been" is available on iTunes.
CPL Sedona's Music Director and founder of the In the Living Room Music Series, commented, "Sophia is the youngest artist to perform in concert in the Living Room. She is a terrific songwriter with a style of her own and last time Sophia was performing in the Living Room, our guests thoroughly enjoyed this young up and coming recording star."
Jepperson continued, "I highly recommend arriving early because last time it was crowded and I'm expecting her concert this time around to sell out."
CPL Sedona's seating is limited to 40 comfortable chairs, with a stage platform and excellent sound system. These concerts are allowing for an intimate, up-close and personal showcase with some of the finest performing artists in Sedona and the Verde Valley every Wednesday from 7-8:15 p,m.
Next Wednesday, April 8th, the Living Room welcomes back Sedona Dynamite Diva Jeanie Carroll and on April 15th saxophonist Chris Counelis returns for his second performance in the Living Room as well.
