CAMP VERDE -- Starting at 10:15 a.m. Thursday, the Camp Verde Marshal's Office, along with multiple other law agencies and the Verde Valley Regional SWAT Team, executed a high-risk search warrant at two locations in Camp Verde.

Curtis Ricky Lopez was arrested on charges of kidnapping, misconduct with weapons, aggravated assault per domestic violence, and threatening/intimidating per domestic violence.

Lopez, 33, a convicted felon with gang affiliations, was recently released from prison and was known to be in possession of several firearms, believed used in crimes. Based on a warrant, he was arrested without incident and booked into the Yavapai County Jail. CVMO Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators found a weapon thought to have been used during crimes in the same room where Lopez was found.

Police are still looking for 37-year-old Renee Rachelle Macias, a person of interest wanted for questioning in the case. She is known to frequent the Yavapai-Apache, Middle Verde and Clarkdale reservations. Anyone with knowledge of her whereabouts is asked to contact the Marshal's Office at 928-567-6621 x1.

The search warrant was also served on a second residence in Camp Verde for additional persons and evidence related to the case.

Negotiators were able to make direct contact with the occupants, who came outside. There were no injuries during either operation.
