Bryan D. Rank

Bryan D. Rank, a 1990 graduate of Mingus Union High School, will receive his PhD in Agriculture Education from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, August 11, 2016. Bryan was born in Cottonwood and grew up in Cornville. He was active in 4H and FAA. He received an Associate of Applied Sciences degree with emphasis on Ranch and Feedlot Operations from Clarendon College, Texas, in 1993. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness in 1997 at Oklahoma Panhandle State University. After working on ranches in Nebraska, Wisconsin, and Montana he became a Realtor in Billings, Montana, where he worked with the Crow Indian Nation. He later moved to Marshall, Texas, and taught high school agriculture classes and began his master's degree online program and graduated in 2013. He will teach and do research at Iowa State University. He is grateful for the many friends in the Verde Valley who have encouraged him and especially to Mr. Steve Dockray who was his Agriculture teacher and FFA adviser at Mingus Union High School.
