Obituary: Ron Feinstein 1942-2016

Ron Feinstein of Cottonwood passed away May 29, 2016. He was born to George and Esther Feinstein (both deceased) on January 21, 1942 in Hartford, CT. Upon graduating from high school he joined the Navy, serving for 10 years as a communications technician.

After leaving the Armed Forces, he joined the Teamsters Union Local 404 in Springfield, MA and worked as a trucker and union organizer for over 20 years.

Upon retirement, he and his wife Jane moved to Pine Shadows in Cottonwood, AZ where Ron worked tirelessly as a four term President of the Arizona Association of Manufactured Home Owners (AAMHO).

He also served 3 terms as President of the Pine Shadows Resident Association and was an active member of the Jewish Community of Sedona and the Verde Valley (JCSVV) where he served on the Board of Directors.

Besides his civic passions he was an accomplished musician, avid photographer and movie aficionado.

Ron is survived by his wife Jane, sister Paula, sons Bob, David and Bruce, stepdaughters Cindy and Cherie, grandchildren Frances, Adam, Tyler, Rosie, Samantha, Abigale and Aaron.

Military Funeral Honors will take place at the Prescott National Cemetery in Prescott, AZ on June 10 at 11 am. A Celebration of Ron's Life will be held at Pine Shadows Clubhouse, 2050 West State Route 89A, Cottonwood, AZ at 2 pm on June 12.
