COTTONWOOD -- Police have arrested a 46-year-old Cottonwood man, Glen Garver, on numerous burglary charges. It was discovered Garver had been getting into a number of storage lockers in the Cottonwood area and taking items from them, according to a news release from the Cototnwood Police Department.

Working on a tip, Cottonwood police located Garver at a residence in the 600 Block of South 8th Street. Some items officers knew to have been taken during the burglaries were found in the bed of a truck parked at the residence registered to Garver.

A search of the residence and back porch area revealed a number of other items identified by one of the victims as having been taken from their storage locker over the weekend.

According to Cottonwood Police Detective Sergeant Tod Moore, "Several thousand dollars' worth of items and furniture were recovered from the home."

During follow-up investigations, a second residence in the Bridgeport area, which also had ties to Garver ,was found to contain more stolen items and furniture.

A television which had previously been reported as stolen in a Quality Inn burglary was also recovered. The home owner advised detectives the television had been given to him by Garver as payment from money owed.

"We believe there are still several victims to these burglaries that have yet to discover their lockers have been burglarized", stated Moore. Anyone who finds their lockers have been accessed is encouraged to call the Cottonwood Police Department.

Garver was booked on several charges of burglary, theft, and possession of burglary tools.
