Thick air quality concerns in Yavapai County

Alex Zanfif of Toronto, Canada, rides with a bandana on his face to protect himself from smoke between Cottonwood and Camp Verde on SR260 on Tuesday morning. Zanfif said he is riding from Ventura, Cal., to Phoenix. He used the bandana in the Mojavi Desert for dust and had to take it out again Tuesday when he woke up to a considerable amount of smoke in the air The smoke is caused by nearby wildfires.
