Dennys A. Reynolds, 87 of Cottonwood, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2016. She was born on September 26, 1928 in Madison, WI to Fred and Julia Pratt.

Dennys attended Edgewood Catholic High School then the University of Wisconsin for 5 years and received her Bachelor of Arts degree. She was a homemaker, jewelry designer and assistant costume designer for the theater.

Dennys spent the last 5 years at Cottonwood Village where she ran the This And That Shop, organized the annual Christmas bonuses and served on the Resident Council. But she will be remembered most for her kindness, warmth and generosity.

Dennys became an avid quilter, designed her own dresses, made her own purses and was an avid reader.

Dennys was a best friend to all of her children, and "Best Friend Forever" to her sister Vonnie.

Dennys was preceded in death by her husband E.C. Reynolds; daughter Carrie Ann Walther and son Peter Reynolds. She is survived by sons Michael Reynolds of Sedona, John Reynolds of Rock Springs, WY and Matthew Reynolds (Julie) of Green Bay, WI; daughter Lizette Reynolds of Everett, WA; sister Yvonne Dirks of Carlsbad, CA; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Cottonwood Village, 201 E. Mingus Ave in Cottonwood.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 700 N. Bill Gray Road in Cottonwood.
