Obituary: Valerie Rogers 1957-2018
Valerie Rogers, 60, of Cottonwood, Arizona, passed away on July 16, 2018. She was born on Nov. 16, 1957, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to Mervil and Ruth Helsel.
Valerie worked as a postal carrier for the Post Office.
Valerie was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Rogers.
She is survived by sons, Adrian Weissert (Chasity) of Cottonwood, Rex Hyrns and Adam Rogers (Shannon), both of Michigan; brother, Mike Helsel of Michigan; sisters, Debbie Moler and Mary Niswonger, both of Arkansas; and 15 grandchildren.
Services will be held at the American Legion Post 25, 480 S. Calvary Way in Cottonwood on Sunday, July 22, 2018, at 9 a.m.
