Al Foul brings American folk to Cottonwood Main Stage
Saturday, August 10, Main Stage presents the one and only Tucson’s Al Foul.
Al Foul plays authentic American folk music and primitive rock’n’roll. He proudly walks in the footsteps of the American heroes like Woody Guthrie, Hank Williams and Johnny Cash. His music becomes a wildly energetic and timeless Folk- Skiffle, both primitive and authentic.
From the Grand Canyon to the Mexican border, audiences are spellbound by his powerful rhythms and a superb dark voice, the grave voice of a true crooner.
This is a must-see show that will keep you on your feet dancing and smiling. Show starts at 9 p.m. for 21 and over. No cover.
As always, the second Friday of every month is reserved for DJ Johnny K and his amazingly danceable playlist of songs.
On August 9, it will be no different for those looking for something fun to do on a small town Friday night.
For several years and counting, Johnny K has delighted guests at the venue with his performances while playing crowd favorites of the last five decades and a variety of musical genres including old school R & B, hip hop/rap, top 40 and everything in between.
Music starts at 9 p.m. and goes until 2 a.m. when the bar closes. This is 21-and-older event with no cover charge.
